帕布莉卡饮酒
（二十首其十）
在昔曾远游，直至东海隅。
道路迥且长，风波阻中途。
此行谁使然？ 似为饥所驱。
倾身[1]营一饱，少许便有馀。
恐此非名计，息驾归闲居。
“风波”有两层含义，一是水面上的风和波浪，二是官场的动荡、龌龊。“此行谁使然？似为饥所驱”指谁使我来作远游，似为饥饿所驱遣。诗人自问自答，诗人感到自己既不力求功名富贵，而如此劳心疲力，倒不如归隐闲居以保持纯洁的节操。“恐此非名计，息驾归闲居”指恐怕此行毁名誉，弃官归隐心悠闲，可以看出诗人归田之心的迫切，体现诗人坚持洁身自好之志。

In bygone days I traveled far and wide,
Nearly as far as the eastern seaside.
Can I forget my journey hard and long,
Impeded by heavy rain and wind strong?
For what should I have gone such a long way,
Were I not driven by hunger I’d stay?
I did my best to get my daily meal,
A little bit seemed to me a great deal.
Afraid no office work was worth my strife,
I would go back to live my rural life.
