泛浮槎[1]，寄生涯，
长江万里秋风驾。
稚子和烟[2]煮嫩茶，
老妻带月炰[3]新鲊[4]，
醉时闲话。
注释：
[1]泛浮槎：放舟漫游。浮槎：木筏，小船。
[2]和烟：置身炊烟之中。和：掺杂。
[3]炰：蒸煮。
[4]鲊：腌渍的鱼。

（I）
I pass my life
On floating raft
Steered by the autumn breeze on the river with pleasure.
Despite the smoke, my young son is brewing tea aft;
Cooking fish in moonlight, busy is my wife.
Drunk, we talk at leisure.

利名无，
宦情疏，
彭泽升斗微官禄。
蠹鱼[1]食残架上书。
晓霜荒尽篱边菊，
罢官归去。
注释：
[1]蠹鱼：蛀蚀书籍衣服的一种小虫，银白色有点像鱼，故名。

Careless of gain and fame,
To rank I lay no claim.
Poet Tao would not in official work be lost,
Nor let bookworms eat holes in his books,
Nor his chrysanthemums be bitten by frost,
He returned to his nooks.
