落花风飞去，
故枝[1]依旧鲜。
月缺终须有再圆。
圆，
月圆人未圆。
朱颜变，
几时得重少年？
注释：
[1]故枝：旧枝，指花落后的树枝。

（I）
Fallen petals fly away with the breeze,
But leaves are still fresh on the trees.
The waning moon will wax again,
Wax and wane,
But we can’t gather round as the moon waxes round.
Rosy faces to grow old are bound,
But where could youth be refound?

这家春醪尽，
那家醅瓮[1]开。
卖了肩头一担柴。
咳！
酒钱怀里揣。
葫芦在，
大家提去来。

No more village brew?
Undistilled wine will do.
The wood I cut sold out,
Heigh!
I’ll have money in my pocket, no doubt.
If you want to drink, you need not pay,
But take your gourd and follow my way.
