艅艎何泛泛[2]，
空水共悠悠。
阴霞生远岫，
阳景[3]逐回流。
蝉噪林逾静，
鸟鸣山更幽。
此地动归念，
长年悲倦游。

[2] 艅艎：舟名。泛泛：船行没有阻碍的样子。
[3] 阳景：日影。
On River Yoya
Wang Ji
My leaflike boat floats far and nigh;
The river blends into the sky.
Dim clouds rise from the distant crag;
Bright sunrays chase the stream zigzag.
Mountains and woods seem calmer still
With birds’ song and cicadas’ trill.
How can I not think of my home?
So many years have I to roam!
