隔断楚天遥。
昨宵入梦，
那人如玉，
何处吹箫？
门前朝暮，
无情秋月，
有信春潮。
看看憔悴，
飞花心事，
残柳眉梢。

From my bower girt with mountains green,
The far-off Southern sky cannot be seen.
My love as fair as jade white
Came into my dream last night.
Where is she now playing on the flute far away?
Before the door night and day,
I see but heartless autumn moon
And faithful vernal tide at noon.
How languid now am I!
My heart like flowers that can’t fly,
My eyebrows like willow leaves dry.
