春晚次韵

萋萋[1]芳草春云乱，
愁在夕阳中。
短亭别酒，
平湖画舫，
垂柳骄骢[2]。
一声啼鸟，
一番夜雨，
一阵东风。
桃花吹尽，
佳人何在？
门掩残红。
注释：
[1]萋萋：草茂盛的样子。
[2]骢：青白色的骏马。

Lush, lush sweet grass and spring clouds spread pellmell;
Grief seems exhaled by setting sunlight.
In the pavilion where we drank farewell,
I see no painted boat on the calm lake afloat,
Nor the proud steed neighing beneath willow trees.
I only hear the cry of birds in fright,
The dripping rain leftover last night,
And the sigh of the eastern breeze.
All the peach flowers are blown away.
Where is the beauty of the bygone day?
Within the closed door only the fallen reds stay.
