山中书事
张可久
兴亡千古繁华梦，
诗眼[1]倦天涯。
孔林乔木，
吴宫蔓草，
楚庙寒鸦[2]。
数间茅舍，
藏书万卷，
投老[3]村家。
山中何事？
松花酿酒，
春水煎茶。

[1]诗眼：诗人独具观察力的眼光。
[2]孔林乔木，吴宫蔓草，楚庙寒鸦：指昔日的繁华已成过眼云烟，只剩下草木寒鸦。孔林：山东曲阜孔子墓地。吴宫：三国时期吴国的宫殿。楚庙：战国时期楚国的宗庙。
[3]投老：到老的时候。

Written in the Mountain
Zhang Kejiu
The rise and fall from year to year are but vain dreams.
A poet’s eyes are tired of roaming on the streams.
The sage’s forest grows old,
The ancient palace overrun with weed,
The temple crows feel cold.
A few rooms in a cot are what I need;
With my ten thousand books,
I’ll retire in my nooks.
What can I do in the mountain?
With leaves of pine
I’ll brew my wine,
And make my tea with vernal water from the fountain.
