里湖，
外湖，
无处是无春处。
真山真水真画图，
一片玲珑玉。
宜酒宜诗，
宜晴宜雨。
销金锅
锦绣窟，
老苏[1]，
老逋[2]，
杨柳堤梅花墓。

[1]老苏：北宋诗人苏轼，曾为杭州太守，在西湖建苏堤，堤上多杨柳。
[2]老逋：北宋诗人林逋，曾隐居西湖孤山，号称“梅妻鹤子”。

Xu Zaisi
In inner lake
And outer lake,
There’s nowhere but spring is awake.
True hills and water make the picture true,
No carved jade can outdo.
It’s good for verse and for wine,
Rain or shine.
It is a place where gold may be spent,
And brocade used as ornament.
Oh! Poet Su,
Mume-lover Bu,
You might still find your willows’gloom
And flowers’ tomb.
