陶潜
结庐[1]在人境[2]，
而无车马喧[3]。
问君[4]何能尔[5]，
心远地自偏[6]。
采菊东篱下，
悠然见南山[7]。
山气日夕佳，
飞鸟相与还。
此中有真意，
欲辨已忘言。

[1] 结庐：构筑屋子。
[2] 人境：人间，人类居住的地方。
[3] 喧：喧嚣声。
[4] 君：作者自谓。
[5] 尔：如此，这样。
[6] 偏：偏僻，僻静。
[7] 悠然：自得的样子。

Tao Qian
In people’s haunt I build my cot;
Of wheel’s and hoof’s noise I hear not.
How can it leave on me no trace?
Secluded heart makes secluded place.
I pick fenceside asters at will;
Carefree I see the Southern Hill.
The mountain air’s fresh day and night;
Together birds go home in flight.
What revelation at this view?
Words fail if I try to tell you.
