帕布莉卡郑果州相过
丽日照残春，
初晴草木新。
床前磨镜客，
林里灌园人。
五马[1]惊穷巷，
双童[2]逐老身。
中厨办粗饭，
当恕阮家贫。
这首诗以鲜明的色彩对比，用“丽日”“残春”“草木”等意象勾勒出一幅清新自然的暮春画卷，为郑果州的来访做环境烘托。接着以“磨镜客”“灌园人”自比隐士。诗人用一个“惊”字写出了巷子的幽深与清寂，与贾岛的“僧敲月下门”的“敲”有异曲同工之妙。诗的最后，以阮家贫来自谦，委婉地表达唯恐招待不周之意。整首诗隐隐地透出诗人不慕富贵的傲骨，宁静淡泊的心境以及旷达幽远的胸襟，暗含王维出仕超脱的禅心。
