九罭之鱼，
鳟鲂。
我觏之子，
衮衣[2]绣裳。
鸿飞遵渚，
公归无所？
于女信[3]处。
鸿飞遵陆，
公归不复，
于女信宿。
是以有衮衣兮！
无以我公归兮！
无使我心悲兮！
捕小鱼的细网，
捉住了鳟与鲂。
我看见这个人，
穿着龙袍绣裳。
大雁沿着沙滩飞，
公爷难道没归处？
暂在这里住两宿。
大雁沿着大陆飞，
公爷离去不再回。
请在这里住一会儿。
把龙袍留在这里啊！
别让公爷回去啊！
别再让我悲伤啊！

The Duke’s Return[1]
In a nine-bagged net
There are breams and red-eyes.
See ducal coronet
And gown on which the broidered dragon flies.
Along the shore the swan’s in flight.
Where will our duke alight?
He stops with us only tonight.
The swan’s in flight along the track.
Our duke, once gone, will not come back.
His soldiers pass the night in bivouac.
Let’s keep his broidered gown.
May he not leave our town
Lest in regret our heart will drown!
