帕布莉卡《小雅·蓼萧》是中国古代第一部诗歌总集《诗经》中的一首诗。这是一首典型的祝颂诗，表达了诸侯朝见周天子时的尊崇、歌颂之意。全诗四章，每章六句，都以蓼萧沾露起兴，通篇表现对君子的祝颂之情，层次分明，抒写有致，章章推展，于叙事中杂以抒情，并带有明显的臣下语气，无论是内容还是形式，均体现出雅诗的典型风格。

How long grows southernwood
With dew on it so bright!
Now I see my men good,
My heart is glad and light.
We talk and laugh and feast;
Of our care we are eased.
How high grows southernwood
With heavy dew so bright!
Now we see our lord good
Like dragon and sunlight.
With impartiality
He’ll enjoy longevity.
How green grows southernwood
Wet with fallen dew bright!
Now I see my men good.
Let us feast with delight
And enjoy brotherhood,
Be happy day and night.
How sweet the southernwood
In heavy dew does stand!
Now we see our lord good,
Holding the reins in hand.
Bells ringing far and near,
We’re happy without peer.
[1] The host was the speaker in the first and third stanzas and the guests in the second and last. This ode was sung on occasion of the king’s entertaining the feudal princes who had come to his court.
