To the Minister of War[1]
O minister of war!
We’re soldiers of the crown.
Why send us to an expeditionary corps
So that we cannot settle down?
O minister of war!
We’re guardians’ of this land.
Why send us to an expeditionary corps
So that we’re under endless command?
O minister of war!
Why don’t you listen to others?
Why send us to an expeditionary corps
So that we cannot feed out mothers?
