帕布莉卡《小雅·何草不黄》是中国古代第一部诗歌总集《诗经》中的一首诗，是《小雅》的最后一篇。此诗共四章，每章四句，描写行役在外的征夫生活艰险辛劳，表达了对遭受非人待遇的抗议。全诗多用反问句式，诉说了征夫所过的非人生活，感情强烈，接连五个“何”字句的责问喷发而出，既是一种强烈的抗议，又是一种愤怒的揭露，特别是“哀我征夫，独为匪民”，画龙点睛，直揭主题。
何草不黄
何草不黄，
何日不行。
何人不将[1]，
经营四方。
何草不玄[2]，
何人不矜[3]。
哀我征夫，
独为匪民[4]。
匪兕[5]匪[6]虎，
率[7]彼旷野。
哀我征夫，
朝夕不暇。
有芃[8]者狐，
率彼幽草。
有栈[9]之车，
行彼周道。
什么草儿不枯黄，
哪日能不在路上。
有谁能够不行走，
往来奔忙在四方。

不是野牛不是虎，

狐狸尾巴真蓬松，

Nowhere but Yellow Grass[1]
Nowhere but yellow grass,
Not a day when we’ve rest,
No soldier but should pass
Here and there, east or west.
Nowhere but rotten grass,
None but has left his wife,
We poor soldiers, alas!
Lead an inhuman life.
We’re not tigers nor beast.
Why in the wilds do we stay?
Alas! We’re men at least.
Why toil we night and day?
Unlike the long-tailed foxes
Deep hidden in the grass,
In our carts with our boxes
We toil our way, alas!
