帕布莉卡秋夜独坐怀内弟崔兴宗
夜静群动息，
蟪蛄[1]声悠悠。
庭槐北风响，
日夕方高秋。
思子整羽翮，
及时当云浮。
吾生将白首，
岁晏思沧州。
高足[2]在旦暮，
肯为南亩俦。
崔兴宗，王维的内弟，这是作者秋夜独坐，因想念他而作的一首诗。首两句是以动写静、寓静于动的佳句，以“蟪蛄声悠悠”反衬夜的安静。“思子整羽翮，及时当云浮”一句以鸟的振翅欲飞比喻崔兴宗即将出仕。末两句是说，崔兴宗你很快就会高升，将来还会做隐居的朋友吗？夜静而思绪不宁，我静而内弟思动，在对比中显出诗人的无奈、孤单和怅然若失之情。

Thinking of Cousin Cui on an Autumn Night
All living things at night are still,
I only hear cicada’s song.
My tree trembles in north wind chill,
Late autumn is coming along.
I think of you flapping your wing
To float like cloud in the sky wide.
A white-haired man would only sing
At the year’s end by riverside.
Sooner or later you will fly.
Could I follow you far and nigh?
