厌浥[1]行露。
岂不夙夜，
谓行多露？
谁谓雀无角，
何以穿我屋？
谁谓女无家，
何以速我狱？
虽速我狱，

谁谓鼠无牙，
何以穿我墉？
谁谓女无家，
何以速我讼？
虽速我讼，
亦不女从。
道上的露水湿漉漉，
难道清早不走路，
就怕道上的湿露？
谁说雀儿没有角，
怎么会啄穿我的屋？
谁说你未妻已成家，
怎么要送我去监狱？
就是送我去监狱，
强迫结婚无道理。
谁说老鼠没有牙，
怎么会打通我的墙？
谁说你未妻已成家，
怎么逼我上公堂？
就算逼我上公堂，
我也不会顺从你。

The path with dew is wet;
Before dawn of I set;
I fear nor dew nor threat.
Who says in sparrow’s head
No beak can pierce the roof?

He jails me without proof.
He can’t wed me in jail;
I’m jailed to no avail.
Who says in the rat’s head
No teeth can pierce the wall?

He brings me to judge’s hall.
Though brought to judge’s hall.
