Creepers spread all the way
Along the river clear.
From brothers far away,
I call a stranger“father dear.”
Though called“dear father,”he
Seems not to care for me.

[1]A refugee mourned over his lot, unpitied by man and woman, old and young. The growth of creepers on the soil proper to them was presented by the refugee in contrast to his own position, torn from his family and proper soil.
