敝笱在梁，
其鱼鲂鳏。
齐子归止，
其从如云。

破鱼篓在鱼梁上，
鳊鱼鲲鱼在游荡。
齐国的女子回国去，
前呼后拥云一样。
破鱼篓在鱼梁上，
鳊鱼鲢鱼意洋洋。

前呼后拥雨一样。

鱼儿游来又游往。

Duchess Wen Jiang of Qi[1]
The basket is worn out
And fishes swim about.
The duchess comes with crowd,
Capricious like the cloud.
The basket is worn out;
Bream and tench swim about.
The duchess comes like flower,
Inconstant like the shower.
The basket is worn out;
Fish swim freely about.
Here comes Duke of Qi’s daughter,
Changeable like water.
